I discovered this lovely Egyptian while cleaning Wee Picasso's room today
Gran has taught Wee Picasso how to create with Fabric. This was a school project that took on a new life. She designed the concept, made a pattern, then made the rest from Gran's scraps. I (Mom) helped by supervising, stiching him closed once stuffed, a few knots, the "sharp scissor" cutting, the hot glue for eyes and jet packs and sewing the silver laces on his roller skates.
Wee Picasso painted this lovely Peacock this weekend. She found a picture online that she liked and drew it on the canvas. Then layered the tail colours - and finished it with some swirls from a brush marker.
Wee Picasso is learning all sorts information about patterns in math. She is making bracelets all the time and asked me for a new kind of bracelet. I taught her how to knot a friendship bracelet and she figured it out right away.
Wee Picasso took these photos when enjoying "Art in the Open" outdoor art exhibit. They were taken on an ipod and they have not been altered.
