The Universe

Unbeknownst to me - Wee Picasso has an understanding of our Galaxy and the Universe. 

I must say the Universe looks really funky!

I did not know stuff at age seven.

Butterflies & Birds

Two recent sketches by Wee Picasso. She now has a big tool box which is full of her art supplies. Just like her Dad's! She also has a new set of markers from Christmas as well. A girl needs new markers! Her little brother is working hard at making circles..perhaps he will have his first drawing online soon!

My Mom

A sketch by my Wee Picasso age 6. I had to sit very still for 10-15 minutes while she drew me. (I was sick with a cold and had no make-up on...I usually look a bit better) Trying to teach her to draw what she sees - and not how she thinks. She noticed my head was not a circle, my eyes are not circles...and I have wrinkles (she erased those under my watchful eye)

Ready for the Birds

Birdhouses we painted for Earth day. These will soon be hanging in our “secret woods”. Wee Picasso painted vines with berries for the bird’s on her big flower house.

Mini Van & Mrs Frost

Wee Picasso drew these in a poster for a local taxi company to win tickets for Jack Frost festival. This is her first vehicle drawing! (age 5)

My favourite picture of age 5!

Wee Picasso drew this fantastic Peacock today - looking at a picture on her new t-shirt. I just love it. She did it in pencil on newsprint - full size it is 14 inches high. I scanned it and placed together in photoshop - and threw in some colour. She may yet decorate it with jewel stickers, but I wanted to get a scan of the pencil drawing first.
